Description

The Diary of an (ex?) Anxious Woman

If you find yourself wondering:

Illustration of a frightened blonde woman experiencing a panic attack. Overwhelmed by fear and anxiety, she symbolizes panic attacks, emotional distress, overthinking and loss of control.

  • Why does my heart suddenly start racing for no apparent reason?
  • Why do I always imagine the worst-case scenario?
  • Why do my own thoughts leave me feeling exhausted?
  • Will it always be like this?

If these questions sound familiar, this e-book might be exactly what you need.

Through 44 episodes inspired by my own journey, I share – with humour, self-irony and complete honesty – what it really means to live with anxiety. Panic attacks, catastrophic thinking, health anxiety, endless medical appointments and moments of despair. But also the insights, tools, encounters and small steps that gradually helped me find more peace and calm.

A Different Kind of Book

I wrote this book as the book I wish I had found when my first anxiety attacks began. Back then, I was looking for simple answers. Something reassuring. Something that wouldn’t make me feel like I needed a degree in psychology just to understand what was happening to me.

Together with my friend Quentin, an exceptionally talented graphic designer, we created a visual world that makes this book lighter, more engaging and easier to read. You’ll find plenty of illustrations, humour, metaphors and visual storytelling that may even make you smile, despite the seriousness of the topic. This is neither an academic textbook nor a book filled with psychological jargon. It’s an illustrated, lively and easy-to-read story about anxiety, written in simple language and filled with hope.

Because when we’re going through a difficult period, we rarely need more complexity. What we truly need is to feel understood.

What You’ll Find in This Book

✅ True stories told openly and without filters

✅ A healthy dose of humour to lighten the load

✅ Simple coaching exercises

✅ Practical tools to better understand yourself and your reactions

✅ Hope if you’re currently going through a difficult time

This Book Is Not…

❌ A psychology textbook

❌ Therapy

❌ A miracle cure

❌ A promise of permanent happiness

It’s simply the story of a woman who spent years believing she was trapped by anxiety before discovering that another path was possible.

A Final Word

If this book helps you feel a little less alone, better understand what’s happening inside you, or simply regain a bit of hope, then it will already have fulfilled its purpose.

I sincerely hope this e-book gives you as much hope as I wish I had received when everything first began.
